Jessica quotes about 'A Public Affair"

"I think that with my music, you can't help but tell people a story about your life," . "I believe that every artist, that's their artistry - it comes out of them naturally, through lyrics, through music, through instrumentation. So with this next record, you will see and hear a lot of things I've been going through. And if that can offer any inspiration to anybody else going through the same situations, so be it. That's why I am here."

Reviews

Step out for a public affair with Jessica Simpson’s latest album “A Public Affair.” This album has many great dancing songs for the clubs and many more great songs. This album passes her last three albums by far. I’m not saying that her last three albums weren’t good but they were lacking something, this one is awesome, it has something for everything. Jessica steps out of her comfort zone of mostly slow songs and gives us something to shake your tush to.
A Public Affair, Jessica’s new single is the one song that doesn’t fit into this great album. You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) is a great song for anyone to dance to it’s a cover from Wanted Dead or Alive (a popular 80’s band) this is my favorite song on the album. B.O.Y. is not a great song if I were a girl I might like it better.
If You Were Mine is a great dance song and I found myself singing it between classes this week at school; Walking Around in a Circle, I love this song it is really a good song to put on while you’re doing your homework. The Lover in Me is a song talking about someone having love for you can make you feel better about yourself, it’s a very good.
Swing with Me, takes me back to those old movies where they swing dance it reminds me of that it’s so different than anything on the radio, it’s a fun song. Push Your Tush is a funny song, its like a Jessica Simpson hoe-down, this is what Jessica meant when she said country would be included on the album. Back to You is a love song the word on the street is that is dedicated to her high school boyfriend.
Between You and I, is a song that reminds me of a 50’s hit its simple, her vocals aren’t high-tech neither is the song. I Don’t Wanna Care, is a song it reminds me of Mariah Carey, great vocals. Fired Up, listening to this song, you would never think it was Jessica singing it; it is completely different from anything she has recorded before.
Let Him Fly, is not my favorite but then again it is totally a song for women, this is a cover from Patty Griffin. Finally, I Belong to me, you can only get this song if you buy it at Wal-Mart, this will be her next single.
This album is a really great album if you like to dance there are six songs to dance to and if you like slow songs there are six great ones and the other two depends who you ask if they are dancing material or not. A Public Affair

I Belong to Me (coming to radio soon)

Jessica Simpson isn’t slowing down any time soon she has became a music and fashion icon. Simpson was born in Texas. She started performing in the gospel industry. Later, after little cooperation or success she transferred to pop music.

Her first single “I Wanna Love You Forever” went to #1 and stayed there for six weeks. Her second album went gold and her single “Irresistible hit #3. Then In This Skin made Jessica a household name selling over 4 million worldwide (3 in U.S.). The Newlywed show with ex-hubby Nick and Dukes of Hazzard didn’t hurt her career either.

Jessica’s most recent album “A Public Affair” has tons of great producers and she also co-produced this album. Jessica gives you an option on this album you can dance to it at the clubs, sing a slow song in the mirror with a hairbrush or shake your butt in the kitchen while cooking, there is something for everyone; from covers to new songs, buy the album you’ll enjoy it.
